Minetest-ping-sort

The ping-meter in-game is from the announce server.
Doesn’t reflect your speed, unless you live nearby it.

Spend a minute to find the server nearest you, for the fastest gaming response.

sudo apt-get install fping
./pingmt.py

The included sample-output.txt is simply an exaple from northern Ohio.

YMMV. Other factors may apply; including, but not limited to:

• Processor speed
• Available cores
• Hard drive speed
• FSB / Memory speed
• How many extra processes are running
• How many players are online
• How many mods are installed
• Texture sizes
• general lag on the ‘net
